Starting with the 2019-2020 membership year, we have been using the U3A Beacon tool to manage our Members and groups data. For the 2024-2025 we have extended our Beacon use to include Finance.

There is a members portal into Beacon so that members can view and edit their own personal information.

As Beacon contains personal data about members, access to it other than by the members portal is strictly limited. Requests for access should be made to the Harpenden u3a Beacon Administrator. Requests must explain what level of access is needed with a justification as to why it is needed.

To log in to Beacon go to Beacon Login.

To access the Members Portal go to Members Portal. You will need to know your Membership number to register on the Portal.

Work on updates, enhancements and bug fixes for Beacon continues although planning for a replacement system has started.
